Construction litigation is legal action that results from disputes stemming from building projects. The nature of the construction process often means that disputes are unavoidable. Because of the complexities of the construction process, litigation that comes as a result of building is also necessarily complex.
Recently Gavin Laboski defended a custom home builder in construction litigation involving the alleged faulty installation of a well and water treatment system. After a 5 day trial the jury returned a verdict in favor of all the defendants, including Gavin’s client. While this is routine work for the lawyers at Benner and Wild who are proud to count numerous contractors, builders and other trades as clients, this case was different, because Gavin didn’t step foot in the courtroom at all during the trial. Not many lawyers can say that they won a case without even being present.
