A borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Dublin had a population of 2,158 at the 2010 U.S. census. Though it is a relatively small borough both in size and population, Dublin has a rich history dating back to its founding by English and Scotch-Irish settlers. There is some amount of dispute over the origins of the borough's name; some residents claim that it is named after Dublin, Ireland, while others claim it is a corruption of the Double Inn that served the town for many years. The town features three historical properties, and recently celebrated its centennial birthday with the publication of a commemorative book.
